Kallimasia, one of the largest villages on the island, hosts a variety of cultural programs during the year, thanks to Proodos, an ambitious local cultural organization. “Arts Fest” is a 2-day event where MHFestival musicians work together with local artists, writers and traditional musicians, theater and dance organizations, music lovers of all ages, to present a large variety of concurrent events, while actors reenact trades and professions of the past on the streets using artifacts from the famous “Kallimasia Folk Museum.”

In addition, in a glance back to the beginning of the 20th century in USA, we find the origins of Jazz in Ragtime and the beginings of Cinema in Silent Movies (with live music performed during the show), while the Forum composers have the opportunity to present installations of their work.
